How do I reply to a message from the phone?

Press 5 while the message is playing, speak after the tone, and press # when you are done. The recording is stored as a .WAV file on the Email2Phone system, and the original sender receives an email with a link to play it.

Pressing 5 also acknowledges the message, the same as 7 or 8, so a reply ends the callbacks for that message.

For “on it, twenty minutes” this beats finding a laptop, and it works from a phone with no data connection at all. The sender needs nothing installed to hear it: the link opens the recording in a browser.
